Established in 2022, the Africa Rising Women Led Network (ARWNET) is a continental women-led initiative committed to transforming the narrative and lived realities of refugee, internal displaced and migrant women in Africa. ARWNET exists to amplify their leadership, protect their rights, and create inclusive spaces where displaced women and girls can thrive, influence policy, and lead change. Founded by refugee women for displaced women, ARWNET operates as a dynamic, multi-country network that mobilizes, connects, and equips organizations led by refugee, internal displaced and migrant women across Africa.
